INSANITY
The dictionary defines insanity as "inability to manage one's own affairs and perform one's social duties" - "without precognition of one's own illness". Another aspect of our insanity is our distorted self-image. Somehow, each of th addicts come to think of their problem as being so unique that what will work for others will not work for them.
They have come to believe that a Power greater than themselves could restore them to sanity and so it has. What they have come to see the evidence that the programme works for those who believe in it.
